3 Quick “Makeup Tricks”

I always want to be perfect. It is a strength and a weakness. I am always reminded the goal should be progress,
not perfection but damn that is hard to remind oneself while meeting a deadline, wanting to please a client,
production, or photographer.

Here are some quick helpful tips I’ve learned and want to share to maybe make your life easier.

Whoops Mascara

I am applying the mascara and boom it lands on the face, by chance the client sneezes or there is a slip of the hand so now what?

Quick fix- leave it, wait till the product drys, and use a clean eyebrow spoolie to brush the product away.

Eyeliner Slip

This tip is when there is no time. Things happen, we have a thick eyeliner planned, and boom the eyeliner streaks on the eyelid.

Quick fix- change the look to a dark eye or always have GLITTER on hand! Glitter is a savior and to almost everyone, it gives life!

Lipstick Wobble

Oh man that lipstick pencil slid and now the lips are not even, what to do?

Quick fix - take a Qtip or pointed Qtip is even better, dip the tip in mineral water and cleanly wipe the mistake away.
